Coverage depends on volunteer ground receivers, so it thins out over open sea, mountains and sparsely populated regions. Try opening the map and panning towards the nearest city or airport — if traffic appears there, the app is working and your own area simply has no receiver in range. Also check that location permission is granted, since the home screen needs a position to know what "near you" means.

Photographs come from public spotter archives, matched by the aircraft's registration or its ICAO address. Freight aircraft, business jets and brand-new deliveries are often not photographed yet, so no image exists to show. We never substitute a picture of a different airframe.

Routes are resolved from open schedule databases using the flight's callsign. Positioning flights, charters, general aviation and military traffic frequently have no published route, so there is nothing to look up. The app leaves the field out rather than inventing a plausible airport.

Yes. Tap ENABLE on the home screen, or simply open the map — it offers again. If you previously refused permanently, the button opens your system settings instead, where Above You can be switched back on.

The gear icon at the top right of the home screen opens Settings, where you can choose between English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Arabic. English is the default on first launch regardless of your phone's language.

There is nothing on our side to delete — no account, no stored positions, no profile. Removing the app from your device deletes the only two things it saved: your language choice and the flag remembering that you were shown the location explainer.
